EASchangesystems rewarded by Dutch bank ABN AMRO for excellence in business

Renswoude, The Netherlands – EAS Europe B.V. – EASchangesystems has been honored by Dutch bank ABN AMRO with 3rd prize of prestigious 2009 Jan Huygen van Linschoten International Award for outstanding business performance.

During an award ceremony held in Rotterdam on February 8th 2010, Dutch bank ABN AMRO recognized EASchangesystems as an innovative, global enterprise by awarding 3rd prize of the annual Jan Huygen van Linschoten International prize.

EASchangesystems was honored for its outstanding performance in terms of ambition, entrepreneurship, sales concept, business approach and excellence in financial management. The jury made a special mention of the successful entrance and maintenance in emerging markets such as China and India.

The ABN AMRO Jan Huygen van Linschoten prize has been awarded for the seventh consecutive year and honors innovative international practice, the ability to compete with the best in a particular field of expertise and exceptional financial performance. A distinguished panel of experts from the business world, educational institutions and industry organizations selected the prize winners from among 80 companies that entered the competition.

Jan Huygen van Linschoten – after whom the award is named – was a pioneer who not only showed ambition and courage to explore the world but also wrote books that encourage others to follow his example.

“This is the first award of its kind that EASchangesystems has received” says CEO Harm Nijzink. “Over the years, we have been honored on several occasions for our leading-edge design in QMC and QDC systems; but this is the first time we are recognized for our international business practice.” “I dedicate this award to all the worldwide staff of EASchangesystems. It is thanks to the hard work of everyone at EASchangesystems that we are successful and that our customers in different parts of the world keep coming back to us when they look for innovative factory automation solutions that are cost-effective.” “The prize money in the amount of € 5000 will be invested in environment protection programs at our manufacturing locations.”
