The installation included clamping systems, manual multi couplers, storage system and a mould inspection unit. And because there was no overhead crane available, EAS also designed and built an electric driven air cushion cart to transport, load and unload 20 ton moulds.

Previously, machines would have to be stopped almost half a day for operators to change moulds. Now, with the innovative EAS set-up, 15 minutes of machine stand-still time is all it takes to change moulds.
