EASchangesystems announces a new range of standardized magnetic clamping systems for injection moulding machines with a closing force of up to 200 tons and operating temperatures up to 100 C°: EAS-y-MAG.

Each of the five models of the EAS-y-MAG magnetic clamping systems’ family meets all EUROMAP and SPI standard platen dimensions. And they do so for plastic injection moulding machines with capacities of up to 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 tons… for maximum mould temperatures of up to 100 C°… with a plate thickness of only 38mm to maximize the daylight opening between platens… and with square poles only 47x47mm in size to optimize the magnetic flux.

Featuring mounting holes in metric and imperial sizes, EAS-y-MAG magnetic clamping systems use a maximum number of fixing points to not only avoid air gap and loss of holding force, but to also ensure a safe operating environment. Additional safety features include temperature sensors on the platen’s fixed side and a mould proximity switch. Also available is the E 70.0 EUROMAP machine interface control unit or the simplified IL1 interlock device for moulding machines where EUROMAP standards do not apply.

EAS-y-MAG systems from EASchangesystems use a robust and very compact 400 VAC power control unit that only requires a few seconds of electricity for the magnetizing and the demagnetizing operation.

EAS-y-MAG magnetic clamping systems from EASchangesystems are easy to install and ready to use. No modification whatsoever is required to moulds – as long as the machine’s back-plate is made out of steel, its surface is perfectly flat and absolutely clean. EAS-y-MAG systems carry a full and unconditional 2-year warranty. In case of need, technicians from EASchangesystems are available to carry out installation work, help with set-up instructions, as well as provide operator training.
