Designed and built for easy installation on existing, as well as on new, original equipment, the vast range of QMC solutions from EASchangesystems includes simple, single-acting hydraulic clamping cylinders for air hydraulic power systems, permanent electro-magnetic clamping cylinders to clamp and unclamp moulds electrically, plus mono and manual multi-coupler units to quickly and reliably join all of the plastic injection moulding machine’s utility connections.

Single-acting hydraulic clamping cylinders in capacities ranging from 60 to 4000 tons.

Versatile and cost-effective, these clamping cylinders can be mounted into fixed positions on the injection moulding machine’s back plate, or – as is generally the case – into the T-slot of the machine’s moveable or fixed mould table. The cylinder’s single hose easily connects to an air hydraulic pump unit that operates with normal air pressure. Fully automatic, the pump switches off once it reaches pressure settings – and starts again when pressure drops by more than 10%. Available with different clamping capacities for machines between 60 to 4000 tons, single-acting hydraulic clamping cylinders from EASchangesystems can also be supplied with a pre-installed air cylinder capable to move the clamp into the T-slot in case the moulding machine’s back plate is not standardized.

Greatly reduce mould change times with Permanent electro-magnetic clamping systems.

For plastic injection moulding operations using a mixture of round, square or rectangular moulds, permanent electro-magnetic clamping cylinders are ideally suited as there is no need for standardized machine back plates. In addition, the unique benefits of square pole and long pole designs ensure that clamping forces are evenly applied at all times – avoiding damage to the mould and prolonging its service life. And using permanent electro-magnetic clamping systems is very cost efficient; electricity is only used for the clamping and unclamping function. Once the mould is securely clamped in place, electricity is no longer required. Available in a variety of different models, EASchangesystems offers permanent electro-magnetic clamping cylinders for applications ranging in temperature up to 150°C and for machine capacities up to 5000 tons. Special-design units are also available for high temperature conditions up to 240°C.
