Get to know more about us and how we can help you… facilitate tool maintenance work with multi-purpose Inspection Units

We are EASchangesystems. For almost 25 years, our innovative QMC and QDC solutions have successfully helped companies in parts manufacturing industries everywhere in the world to meet the demands of their clients; produce more, in less time and at lower costs.

Our Inspection Units play an important part in maintaining the highest level of tool availability and operating performance by not only giving service personnel quick and easy access to moulds and dies for maintenance tasks, but also by providing a secure working environment for men and equipment.

Adding Inspection Units to your production process is an important step toward optimizing operations through automation. Repetitive tool handling functions such as positioning moulds and dies to facilitate service work in the injection moulding, die casting and related industries is best handled by equipment specially designed for this purpose.

Inspection Units from EASchangesystems are used more and more in parts manufacturing industries. They help ensure quality maintenance work, which in turn keeps the availability of moulds and dies at the highest level – for maximum productivity and optimum operating profits. Our Inspection Units are designed to maintain moulds and dies in top working condition… so that you can protect your tool investment and ensure continuous parts production

Moulds and dies are very valuable. If they break down or don’t function properly, manufacturing operations come to a standstill, parts production stops and income is lost. Taking care of tools is important. Regular maintenance work keeps your moulds and dies in good working order.

Moulds and dies are also very expensive to acquire. They represent an important investment. Consequently, replacing them (because incorrect handling during service work caused irreparable damage) will set you back significantly. And not just financially speaking. By virtue of their function, moulds and dies are high precision tools and producing them is a lengthy process – which means long lead times… loss in production… loss in profits.

Furthermore, it is a well-known fact that making operators feel safe and secure in the work they perform puts them at ease and increases their productivity. That’s the effect Inspection Units have on your work force; servicing moulds and dies becomes safe and therefore quick as slow and sometimes hazardous methods involving jacks and levers, overhead cranes and other lifting devices are replaced with state-of-the-art Inspection Units from EASchangesystems.

Inspection Units from EASchangesystems eliminate time-consuming and often hazardous tool handling methods that when it comes to carrying out maintenance work on moulds and dies. Using specialized equipment makes the operating environment secure and increases the performance of service personnel. The picture shows a unit for a 50 ton mould.
Increasing the flexibility of Inspection Units… ensures tailor-made mould and die handling solutions

Our Inspection Units can be supplied in different configurations, capable to handle moulds and dies weighing between 3 tons and 200 tons… and more. Depending on the operating environment, each model is equipped with either hydraulic or magnetic clamping systems that are installed on fixed or moveable work consoles.

Other equipment solutions include the installation of additional hydraulic cylinders that can tilt one or two mounting tables 90°, enabling operators to rotate and precisely position tools to facilitate repair work. Furthermore, fitting U-shaped side plates gives service personnel unrestricted access to the area where maintenance work needs to be carried out. We can also supply automatic multi coupler arrays to connect utility lines for the purpose of checking tool pre-heating systems. Another possibility is adding ejector cylinders to simulate parts unloading movements. More tool functionalities can be tested by installing a variety of multiple system connectors. And to accommodate different tool back plate dimensions, moveable upper clamping systems are available.

Last but not least, a number of safety accessories are available to maximize operating environment security; i.e. warning devices, equipment protection, work area enclosures, weight detection mats, and more.
